When I was visiting my sisters church TAG in Ark a few weeks ago, Pastor Dwayne said this:

“Dead is settling for less, after experiencing more.”

And “a dry spell is The Spirit pushing you into a deeper level! PUSH!”

I feel that today. I realize those things we think we overcome (or get through) never really go away they just change form. At some point they can and should become tools in our ministry but there is a point, I believe, of pushing through to that – it will not come naturally or painlessly! Once they have morphed into what can be an exciting opportunity for ministry it’s up to us to choose to use them that way – or we can continue wallowing selfishly and stay in the dry, deadness of our own desires, and the used to be’s.

By the Grace of God and the power of the Spirit – I choose to dive deeper in Him.

After reading in Ephesians today I was encouraged to do just that – PUSH!
