I had the most amazing experience today!

After some tough stuff the last few days, super tough, I went to bed last night praying a very specific prayer – it was actually one of those ‘cry out’ kind of prayers!

Today at work after making at least 50 calls, I received a call from the main switchboard asking if I would take a call from this woman I did not know and was not one my cases. She had called to let me know that I had left my message on the wrong phone number, but was insistent with the operator to let her speak to me herself. The operator called to make sure it was ok to put her through – I said of course.

She said to me, your message was so professional and your voice was so sweet; there was just something about it and I wanted to call and compliment you on your professionalism.

She proceeded by saying, I’m a Christian and I love Jesus and…
God wants you to know he has your back!

She is on the other side of the US and I reached her by accident but God…

He will speak audibly when we cry out and He knows we need it!

I read this morning “the need is never the call, the opportunity is the call.” This woman, a complete stranger knew nothing of me or my need but she recognized the opportunity when it presented itself and fulfilled her calling through it!

Not just the praise I feel for He who cares but the lesson I learned from a stranger.

It would be too personal to share why that was important that very day, but just believe me when I say, He is Amazing and He did have my back!
